Best Go Viral app alternative.
If you want a Go Viral alternative, you probably want a read on the draft before you post. Both apps do that, and both estimate views. Clout scores hook, body, retention, pacing, visuals, audio, and trends, estimates a view range from the overall score, and tells you what to change. Paste or share a TikTok or Reel into Competitor Spy and get the next hook or script from that breakdown. Stay on Go Viral if you already like that app. Switch if you want the fuller breakdown and the spy tool, not because Clout skips a view estimate.
Score the draft you already have. Use the breakdown. Treat the view range as a guess.

What each app is for
| Job | Clout | Go Viral |
|---|---|---|
| What you get on a draft | Seven scores, timestamps, what to fix, plus an estimated view range | A virality score and predicted views, on their listing |
| Estimates your views | Yes, a range from the overall score | Yes, on their current App Store listing |
| Someone else’s video | Paste or share a TikTok or Reel. Uses the real view count. | Not the main job on their listing |
| Next post | Hook, script, caption, and idea generators | Fix notes on the draft you uploaded |
| Platform | iPhone (TikTok and Reels) | See that app’s current listing |
What App Store reviewers of Go Viral write
This is their wording, not a test we ran. On the public US listing, people say the view guess did not match a video they had already posted (300 real views called as 10k; a 7 million view video called as 10k to 100k). Others say the same file got mixed notes, the tips felt generic, the score dropped after they followed the tips, or the write-up missed what the video was about.
Clout’s range can miss too. It is mapped from the overall score, not from a live graph. If forecasts are why you are leaving, treat any app’s range as a guess and pick the tool that also shows you which part of the video is weak.
When to stay on Go Viral
Stay if you already trust that app. Switching will not make a view estimate come true.
When Clout is the better next app
Switch if you want seven scores and timestamps on your draft, a breakdown of a posted TikTok or Reel that uses its real views, or the next hook written from that breakdown.
Clout is iPhone-only and unlocks with a subscription after onboarding. It does not analyze YouTube Shorts. If you need Android, a free web tool, or a scheduler, this is the wrong alternative.
